People Operations Lead

Kevala is looking for a People Operations Lead who will lead initiatives focused on growing and supporting the success of our team members. This individual will be responsible for HR processes, tools and policies that support the objectives of our fast-paced business while partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure our team members can perform at their best. What you will be doing

  • Talent Attraction & Hiring: Support and be accountable for the recruitment and hiring strategies used across the company. 
  • Benefits & Compensation: Responsible for ensuring Kevala provides a comprehensive and competitive total rewards to employees as the company grows. 
  • Talent Development: Design best-in-class talent management programs through innovative career pathing, goal setting, review process, talent calibration, succession planning and recognition practices. 
  • Employee Engagement: Manage and lead activities across the company to foster community in a hybrid working environment while also identifying ways to retain our unique culture as we grow.
  • Strategic Leader Collaboration: Establish and foster relationships with leaders and team members throughout the organization in order to understand the business and create the appropriate solutions.
  • Workspace Administration, Policies, & Compliance: Manage and guide managers in employee relations while ensuring consistency and adherence to company policies.

What you need to succeed

  • 5+ years of broad-ranging HR experiences including leadership experience in a hyper-growth startup company.
  • 3+ years experience managing and developing teams.
  • Experience working in a small-to-midsize, fast-growing organization while developing strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Possesses the vision and skills to effectively link business goals with enabling HR strategies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen effectively and communicate in a clear yet empathetic manner.
  • To have a demonstrated ability to design, implement and leverage HR strategies to help drive measurable business results.

The total compensation for this opportunity includes a base salary range of $115,000 - $145,000 plus equity (stock options). This is our target compensation range and is subject to multiple factors including level, experience, and location. As you go through our interview process, our recruiter will work with you to identify a competitive base salary within the proposed range and combine it with an equity package that will support your excitement in joining Kevala.

This is a fully remote role which can be located anywhere within the United States. Please note, actual salaries may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, education, experience, and location.
